Casa Teresina is located in the centre of the small village of Moggiona, in the Casentino region of Tuscany.

The cottage has two bedrooms and can comfortably accommodate four people. A sofa bed is also available, making it possible to sleep up to six people if needed. The terrace at the rear of the house has a lovely view across the valley and is perfect for dining in the summer.

Casa Teresina is situated in the oldest part of the village, opposite the church and its separate campanile (bell tower). Dating back as far as the 12th century, it is built very much in the style of the Casentino, with enormously thick walls and a cantina (cellar) under the house.

The cottage is managed for us by the charming and helpful Tassini family, who run the village shop and the very highly recommended restaurant Il Cedro (three minutes’ walk from the house).

The nearest town, Poppi, is only 10 minutes’ drive away and has a full range of shops and services.
